SCE wins Collaboration in Community Energy award

Staffordshire Community Energy has received the Collaboration in Community Energy award at the Community Energy Awards. The award was collected by SCE board members, Mike Kinghan and Jason Howlett, along with Fiona Miller, Chief Executive of Beat the Cold.

This is the third time this year that our partnership with University Hospitals of North Midlands and Beat the Cold has been recognised. Together we direct community benefit funds from our hospital based solar installations into the Keep Warm, Keep Well scheme, supporting local households to stay warm and well.

We extend our thanks to Community Energy England for its continued work championing community energy and giving voice to groups across the UK. Congratulations to the community energy organisations recognised at the awards and to all those making a difference in their communities throughout the year.
