Renewable Energy for Sustainable development
In collaboration with property owners in the public, private and community/voluntary sectors, we undertake Community Solar Energy Projects that not only help them access low-cost green energy but also drive positive social benefit. By installing solar panels on rooftops and open spaces, we generate clean energy for our partners’ operations, reducing carbon emissions and climate impacts.
Our operations help generate a community fund that supports social initiatives, particularly those aiding households in fuel poverty. These projects exemplify our commitment to sustainable energy solutions that benefit both our partners and the local community and support the nation’s drive to net zero.
At Staffordshire Community Energy, we go beyond energy generation and actively contribute to the well-being of our citizens and environment through our Community Funds. By utilising revenue generated from the feed-in tariff and energy sales, we have established dedicated community funds.
These funds serve as a powerful resource for supporting local projects that resonate with our values and directly benefit those in need. We collaborate closely with our communities, ensuring that the projects we support align with our ethos and make a meaningful impact.
