Power With Purpose: Help us make the final push

Today marks the start of Community Energy Fortnight, a nationwide celebration of people coming together to create cleaner, fairer and more resilient communities through locally owned renewable energy.

It’s also the start of the final two weeks of our Lichfield Leisure Centre Community Share Offer.

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we’ve already secured £105,500 towards our £155,000 target. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has invested so far and helped us reach this milestone.

Now we’re inviting more people to join us for the final push.

Community energy is different. Rather than profits leaving the area, it gives local people the opportunity to invest in renewable energy projects that deliver lasting environmental, social and economic benefits for their own communities.

Our Community Share Offer supports the solar installation at Lichfield Leisure Centre, helping to grow community ownership of clean energy here in Staffordshire. Any surplus generated by the project will be reinvested into future community energy initiatives, creating benefits that extend far beyond the solar panels themselves.

As we celebrate Community Energy Fortnight, we’re reminded of what can be achieved when local people work together with a shared purpose.

Whether you’re passionate about tackling climate change, supporting local communities or simply want to be part of something positive, there’s still time to get involved.

Shares are available from just £100, making it easier for more people to become part of Staffordshire’s growing community energy movement.

Our Community Share Offer closes on 15 July, so if you’ve been thinking about investing, now is the time – head HERE for more information and to invest

Together, we can demonstrate what’s possible when communities come together with Power With Purpose.
