Join Us for the Launch of the Lichfield Leisure Centre Share Offer

Staffordshire Community Energy is inviting people to be part of a new community-owned solar project at Lichfield Leisure Centre.

The Lichfield Leisure Centre Share Offer officially opens on Monday 27 April, with a launch event taking place on Thursday 30 April, from 12pm to 2pm at Lichfield Leisure Centre.

The solar panels at the leisure centre are already installed and generating renewable electricity. This share offer will help replace the short-term loan used to deliver the project, allowing it to be backed by investors and owned for long-term community benefit.

The launch event is an opportunity to meet the Staffordshire Community Energy team, hear more about the project and the share offer, and ask any questions you may have before deciding whether to invest. There will also be time for networking over a light lunch.

Whether you are interested in community energy, social investment, renewable energy projects or simply finding out more about Staffordshire Community Energy’s work, this event is an opportunity to learn more about the project and what community ownership can achieve.

Places are free, but booking is essential for catering purposes.
