SCE shortlisted for two national awards

Following a remarkable year of achievement, Staffordshire Community Energy (SCE) is delighted to have been shortlisted for two categories at the 2025 Community Energy Awards.

Having already been grateful winners of two awards earlier this year, SCE is now a finalist for both the Collaboration in Community Energy Award and the Community Energy Excellence (Small/Medium) Award.

Community Energy Awards 2025 Finalist banner the Community Energy Excellence (Small/Medium) Award.

The Collaboration in Community Energy Award celebrates the most commendable partnership between a community energy organisation and its partners. SCE’s nomination recognises its work bringing together local authorities, NHS trusts, and community investors to advance green energy projects across Staffordshire.

The Community Energy Excellence (Small/Medium) Award highlights organisations demonstrating exceptional commitment to engagement and inclusion, innovative approaches within the sector, and measurable progress in expanding impact through 2024 and 2025.

The Community Energy Awards ceremony will take place on 17 November, honouring the organisations, partnerships, and individuals driving forward the UK’s community energy movement. Supported by Lendology and National Grid Electricity Distribution, the event is one of the most anticipated dates in the sector’s calendar, shining a spotlight on the power of community-led climate action.
